Suggested NFL New Year’s Resolution

Suggested NFL New Year’s Resolution

New Year’s Resolutions

At the end of every year, we all come up with a resolution for the upcoming year. This is a tradition that everyone partakes in, even players in the NFL, believe it or not. Since they have a lot going on, I have a suggested NFL New Year’s resolution for several players and organizations around the league.

Tom Brady's - Just Give It Up

Tom Brady - NFL Quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It is hard to see the GOAT come back for another year and do so poorly. We all were so happy to hear Tom Brady finally give it up and retire at the end of the 2021-22 season. Some of us were disappointed to hear that he would be returning for another year in the NFL. Probably not as disappointed as the guy who bought his last touchdown ball for $518,000, but we were disappointed nevertheless.

Tom Brady has cemented himself as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. It is hard to debate that when he has seven Super Bowl rings. When he announced that he would retire, after a hard fight in the playoffs, it seemed mutually respected. Tom has been in the NFL for 23 seasons and, though he is still going strong, it is time for him to step away. It was too much for him to retire last year, so he came back for another go-around.

My suggestion to Tom Brady for his NFL New Year’s resolution would be to just call it quits. Give it up, Tom! We respect you and want to see you leave. Not all of us like you, but we do respect you and would respect you more if you would finally just give it up.
